Life and Times of Randal Mundy Randal Mundy BA. BSc. Born Stalybridge 1862. Dialect poet and educationalist, geologist, biologist and linguist. Women Dialect Writers in Lancashire Lancashire dialect writing is often seen as very much a male preserve but Paul’s talk will introduce several highly talented women who wrote in dialect, including Margaret Lahee of Rochdale, Hannah Mitchell from Manchester and Helen Lee of Poulton-le-Fydle as well as more recent female writers. The importance of the Lancashire Authors’ Association is providing a supportive network for aspiring writers, male and female, will be discussed. Presented by Dr Paul Salveson
