November 8th
NARROWBOAT TALES Jo & Jan May Looking forward to an evening of fun and laughter as we hear about Jo & Jan's experiences on their narrowboat. Their talks cover various adventures (and hiccups) on two narrowboats and a Dutch Barge cruising in the UK, Holland, France and Belgium. They include a slide show over which they talk unscripted. Occasionally what they say actually relates to the photo! Each photograph is doctored on Photoshop: 1) To give the illusion of perpetual sunshine. (Unlikely) 2) To make Jo look thinner. (Improbable). Do come along it promises to be a fun evening. |
December 13th
MEMBERS’ KESMAS DO On this evening, members are invited to present their favourite dialect item with a Christmas theme, be it a poem, story or song.
